Dear Mr. Fangman,

I am writing this letter to tell you what a wonderful product your Cell-Sorb Plus is. I received a sample after attending the National AALAS meeting several years ago in Baltimore. At that time I was the only one working in a fairly small facility. I did all cleaning by hand.

I had a very large, 14lb. male New Zealand rabbit we had named Norman. Against my better judgement I left the Cell-Sorb under his cage for one entire week. I was truly amazed at the odor control. Nothing, I could not detect any ammonia, or urine smell. I even brought two girls from the office in for an official non-animal care person opinion. They too were impressed by the odor control. Although I change my bunnies too often to use the Cell-Sorb for them, I do use it for all my other small animals including rats, mice, and hamsters.

Using the Cell-Sorb on the smaller animals enables me to change bedding less often. Sani-cel or corn cob bedding required boxes be changed every other day due to the lack of good odor control and absorbency. Once or perhaps twice per week, depending on the population is all that is really necessary for proper husbandry.

In addition to the excellent odor control of the Cell-Sorb is it's also got remarkable absorbency properties. One would expect to have some extra work when changing the bedding this infrequently. You'd be wrong though! There is never any bedding left stuck to the bottom of the boxes. Just dump the Cell-Sorb and your cage has barely any dust on it, let alone wet bedding that needs to be scraped off.

Even though the Cell-Sorb may cost a little more than the other more popular and less expensive beddings, it's well worth it. The conveinence and ease of cleaning make Cell-Sorb a truly unique and extremely useful product. We will always use it in our facility as long as we are able.

The Secret Bedding!

Cell-Sorb Plus is THE BEST bedding! You wouldn't believe how great it is. Nothing beats it for absorption and odor control. It has some special ingredients in it, gypsum or something that actually neutralizes the urine so you never get that ammonia smell! BUT, it's hard to find! Definitely superior to CareFresh and Pine and anything else I've tried. There is some dust when you are dumping it out of the bag. But it is manageable. The wet spots clump up for easy removal. You can stir it up and remove clumps to freshen between full changes. My experience is it lasts about 3-4 times as long as CareFresh--easy. I'm pretty generous with it. I put down about an inch and a half in my cages. You could get away with a bit less, but a thick base makes it easier to refresh midweek.

I recently found out about your product from a guinea pig rescue organization, Cavy Spirit, run by Teresa Murphy (San Mateo, CA 650-571-1722). She promoted your product to us and we are convinced it is far superior to the Carefresh product that we currently use. However, your product is not widely known, nor available. We live in the Trukee/Tahoe area and will have to go to Sacramento to buy your product or attempt to convince a local pet store to research and stock your product.

We spoke with Andy at Pacific Animal Supply and he stated that he was as busy as he can manage with the amount of distribution that he currently handles. And he currently only ships as far east as Sacramento.

Because we are so interested in your product, we urge you to widen your distrbution network and product marketing. It is not widely known at major pet stores such as Pet Club in Emeryville, or PetCo in Alameda/the East Bay or San Francisco.

Dear Mr. Al Fangman,

Having used your product in our store has saved us time and money.
We put Cell-sorb in our small animal tanks which can have as many as 50 mice in them or other small animals in large quantities and we went from having to change the tanks every day or every other day to having to change them app. every 7 to 10 days.
We are still told by our customers that they are amazed that our store has no odor. The time that is saved by not having to change the tanks so often has let us spend more time taking care of the animal itself and not just its cage. We feel that not only us but our little ones have benefitted from your product.

" Finally arrived, and after a week it's still holding up very well. No odors yet. They claim no litter changes are needed for about three weeks. My boys are very clean and use a litter box, so I didn't expect to have to change theirs right off. The girls, on the other hand, are absolute slobs. I've tried the litter box with them, and while they'll use it, they prefer the floor. So when the Cell-Sorb came in I removed thier litter box and covered their entire floor with litter. Other than scooping their turds out every night, all I have to do is give the litter a little stir. It is very much like Yesterday's News, only a bit softer and chunkier. It's just as heavy, too. I've got a good feeling about this stuff."
